MEAT MARINATING INSTRUCTIONS

Whatever you do:

For best results:

Before you pour Original Soakin' SauceTM Marinade on whatever you're going to marinate, FLIP and SHAKE the Original Soakin' SauceTM Marinade jug!

Pierce meat before marinating

Add ½ cup of marinade, per pound to a large plastic food storage bag

Shake and flip the bag every hour or two, up to 2-3 hours (marinate longer for more flavor).

Remove your food from the marinade; discard marinade (do not reuse).

Cook as you normally would (on the grill, bake, broil, microwave, crockpot etc.) During cooking, daubing with additional marinade will add extra great flavor.

Whether you BBQ, bake, broil, microwave or crockpot... savor the flavor!

THE SAUCE BOSS'S
DEFINITIONS & RULES OF THUMB

A marinade is a liquid used to pass on, transfer, or enhance the flavor of food.  It adds an aroma to your taste buds, providing an unforgettable dinin' experience (and also tenderizes the meat when you're not lookin'!)

The Sauce Boss does not recommend using metal containers for marinating.

Remember to FLIP and SHAKE several times during the marinatin' process to evenly mix and coat all the secret ingredients of Original Soakin' SauceTM Marinade

Different foods should be marinated for different lengths of time:

Most fish and seafood are delicate and porous so these should not be marinated for more than 10-15 minutes maximum.

Skinless chicken can be marinated for 2-4 hours. Chicken with the skin left on (ex. wings,) needs to be marinated longer (4-6 hours) to allow the marinade to penetrate. Regardless, always remember to FLIP and SHAKE the container every couple of hours to keep all the secret stuff mixed up real good.

Most tender cuts of meat can marinate for up to 4-8 hours or overnight for fuller flavor.  Tough cuts of meat should always marinate longer to help tenderize the meat.

Always marinate in the refrigerator!

Do not reuse marinade and do not use the marinade as a servin' sauce after it has been in contact with raw meat!

As a general rule, use 1/2 cup of marinade per pound of meat.
